Has anyone run this lift? I am considering upgrading to this on my 07. I already have a 2.5" but my suspension droop is maxed out. Upper control arm rest on the bump stop when setting level. This looks like a great setup. https://zoneoffroad.com/products/25...011-dodge-ram-1500-4wd?variant=33364928921688
I considered the same kit a few years back. I was thinking it would be an alright budget compromise instead of the 6” lift. Buuuut, I figured I would rather do it right the first time. Still waiting for the right time to pull the trigger on the 6” with fox shocks. Post some photos and a review if you install. I am highly curious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks , I don't want to go any higher than 3" Getting older and climbing in is not as easy as it used to be.
Just placed an order for the kit with Rockridge 4X4, they have great reviews and when I sent an email I got a response within few minutes from Erin. Seems like a very good price for what you get. I have a local guy that is going to install it for me. any suggestions on new loaded struts. Don't need anything fancy.
Will do. Was thinking of getting KYB Loaded Struts and Shocks. Thoughts? https://www.shocksurplus.com/produc...y-front-pair-for-2006-2008-dodge-ram-1500-4wd https://www.shocksurplus.com/produc...ks-rear-pair-2002-2008-dodge-ram-1500-2wd-4wd
Received my kit today Wow are these UCA's Beefy. Hopefully I can get an appointment with the shop in the next week to get the lift installed. Going to also install Bilstein 4600 Struts up front and KYB shocks in the back.
Got my Kit installed Huge difference. The UCA's are at proper angles now, the axles are a much better angle. The Bilstein's take the bumps much smoother. Driving straight the road feels the same, but steering feels tighter. When I hit a big bump or dip it is so much smoother, Not a hard hit anymore on the dips. I now have my full travel back. I highly recommend this kit. Pics in a few days, underside to dirty for pics
