2016 RAM 1500 Laramie 5.7L HEMI V8 Crew Cab Short Box
I am not a very mechanically minded guy, so keep that in mind if I don't use the common terms for what I am describing.
No issues with my truck until I experienced a glitch this morning.
I stomped on the gas and started accelerating up a hill. Suddenly the truck lost power for .5 to 1 second.
And then WHOMP! The power returned with a wallop. It may have just been in my mind, but it felt like the force was coming from behind. Almost like I'd been rear-ended. The truck lunged forward.
Transmission slippage?
