    I was a die hard Chevy guy. In 1996 Chevy recalled the vacuum actuator in my wife's s10 blazer. Hers failed one week prior. Taking out the front axle. They refused to pay for the axle. Only paid for the actuator. I have purchased 9 new vehicles since. Everyone a mopar.

    Not true. Nowhere does it say you must use that oil to maintain warranty. It says it is recommended. If it was required they would have to supply it for free. Magnuson moss act.     If you read the manual, in the back by fluid capacities, it says a synthetic oil sn rated is recommended. It also says ultra platinum is recommended in the next paragraph.

    Mine while towing got to 220. Only during one climb. Otherwise 195 to 213. Oil temp at 225 and trams at 167 to 170.

    Try leaving a window cracked. It's probably the stereo overheating. A lot of functions are packed into the connect computer. I have heard of a few being bad and causing strange problems.

    8.0 vs 6.4

    The 6.4 pulls far better than my v10 did. I believe the biggest difference being in the trans. Both pulled decent but when the v10 had to downshift it was a big gap.
