Breaking problem
A spongy brake pedal would indicate that there's air in the system somewhere. If there was a vacuum leak going to the brake booster then the pedal would be rock hard and you'd have to stand on the brake pedal to get it to stop. I would talk to a local diesel mechanic and see what they have to say about getting the power you're looking for. A buddy of mine is a Ford guy and has a pretty beefy power stroke. He added a tuner that allows him to change maps for different situations. It would be worth looking into something...- Rlaf75

I agree with this to a point. Yes they all need gas, air and spark to run but with today's technology there's a lot of different ways they control those elements. Potholes
Previous replies (#2#3) are great comments. The pothole could've jarred something loose and without properly diagnosing it and simply throwing parts at it will cost you a lot of time and money only to inevitably take it to a shop. Is it getting spark? Is it getting gas? Does it crank over...- Rlaf75

Which Walmart air filter for 2013 Hemi ?
Yeah cool story. Being a mechanic for 30+ years I'm well aware it does nothing for performance. I only use it so I don't have to keep replacing it. Pull it out, wash it dry it and a light coat of spray and back in it goes. About 15 minutes worth of work- Rlaf75

Videos changing From H11 to H9 and from H9005 to H9011 ?
I live in New England and never had an issue with my LED's freezing over. The OP seems to be doing a lot of unnecessary work for something that has plenty of options for improving light output without being so invasive but to each their own -

Which Walmart air filter for 2013 Hemi ?
I've had a K&N filter in every vehicle I've ever owned and I never had a problem either. I was just curious to hear their reasons for it being "not good" lol. I also use rain-x washer fluid in everything but people say that's no good too lol- Rlaf75

Check engine light still on after replacing cap
P0152 & P0157 are bank 1 & bank 2 upstream O2 sensor codes indicating the engine is running very rich. P0440, P0456 & P0457 are EVAP codes. The engine could have a vacuum leak somewhere that's causing the EVAP & gas cap codes to keep coming back & depending on where that vacuum leak is it is...- Rlaf75

2001 dodge ram 1500 black smoke
Black smoke is usually an indication that it's running rich. If the catalytic converter is not there then the oxygen sensors will not read correctly. Because they aren't reading correctly they will tell the computer to make the necessary adjustments which will be wrong because they are reading... -

fix for non existant spray on windshield ?
If you have any auto parts stores around you they should have the trim tools. I got a set from harbor freight for like $4 and they look exactly like the ones GTyankee posted -

Ive used rain-x in every vehicle i owned including both my rams and rain-x washer fluid is the only fluid I'll use. I never had a problem with it ever -

I agree with the OP. Unfortunately it's the government forcing this type of things on the automakers. I'm not opposed to changes but at least keep the V8 as an option. I read in another group I'm in that the new hurricane I6 turbo only gets like 2 mpg better than the hemi. Real world mpg numbers...- Rlaf75
