I have the backup beep sensors right now, and they work pretty good. But I just don't wanna take a chance at hitting something, Ive had some close calls. Plus I have a Crew cab, so I have a long way to look through the cab to the back of the truck. The system's so automated and easy, I can't resist.

That's pretty cool! I like the ipod interface, unfortunately I have a zune : ( Haha

Keyhole camera is pretty badass. Only thing I wouldn't like, is it takes up the tailgate keyhole, which I use. I had my tailgate stolen from my first truck, so I always have a key now.

No I still have keyed tailgate what I did is drill a whole in the handle and mounted that keyhole camera in the same spot as the factory camera. It looks stock only you guys and I know. I'll post pics once she is back from pinion bearing ordeal.

Hey guys,

I want to order a CHR550 lockpick, but I have a 2012 and the website only goes to 2011. Does anyone know if there were any changes for the 2012s? I have an inquiry into the website, just waiting for a reply.

Trip,

I didn't see your DIY, I must not be good at looking through the forum. I am curious about the routing of the camera wire. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on the lockpick and Bar Cam but the routing of the camera cables worries me. How did you run them?

Sorry man must have missed this post yesterday. It was actually really easy. I routed the wire through the back of the dash, under the steering wheel and poked a hole in the large gromet a little to the left of your pedals. Poke the wire through, and reseal it with some silicone so dirt/water can't get back in. Then I just put mine into wire loom to protect it a little more and routed the wires along the frame rails (just like the factory wire harness) back to the rear of the truck. Really simple and it works great! Let me know if you have any more questions!

I 2nd it being easy even automatically switches when put in reverse and if I want I can pull up the cam and see who is following or look at the trailer/ hitch to make sure all is well. Great investment.

I drilled a hole in the floor next to the sill under the carpet then I used silcone to seal up. I messed with a grommet once and always had issues keeping cold air out.
