I get the “Big Brother” issue. However, your vehicle is only one of many ways your every day life is tracked. Your phone, your credit card, your online computer activity, your tv watching, your health records and on and on. I choose to just embrace it. My USAA driving app resulted in a 15%...
Noticing the same issue on my 2023 Limited. Several small chips but no cracks yet. Driving the same way I always have. Has to be related to quality of the glass in some way, in my untrained opinion based on 40 years of driving.
I have 285/55/22 on my 2023 Limited with air ride. Only rubbing occurs in entry/exit mode when turn. Shouldn’t drive in that height anyway. Dealer calibrated to 33” and said that’s as big as they can go. So about an inch off and 4mph at highway speed.
Just bought a Noco 40 on Amazon for $100.00. Good review on YouTube. Jumped 6 cars on 1 charge. Haven’t had an opportunity to test it yet myself and hope I never do!
Also affects recorded mileage and calculated mpg. You are likely putting on more miles than your truck thinks and your MPG is a bit better than your truck tells you.
I have 285/55/22 Toyo Open Country AT3’s on my 2023 Limited with air suspension. No rubs other than entry/exit mode. Had dealer try to calibrate but their program won’t allow to go higher than 33” as of a few months ago. I’m off about 4 MPH at highway speeds over 60.
15,000 miles so far. Mostly highway. Perfectly happy with these tires. Haven’t had much snow yet so don’t know how they’ll do on snow/ice but I expect they’ll be just fine.
