Once and for all......The 68rfe IS NOT a bad transmission. Many other folks have chimed in that it is the guys who tuned thier trucks that had transmission issues with the 68. I'm on my second 2500 CTD. My first was a Gen3 that had all the emissions stuffs and was tuned. I had no problems with light loads or failures. Newbie Looking for a Truck
If you can find a 2008 to 2014 truck in your price range I wouldn't balk. Only prob with those is the DPF, which depending on where you live can be removed. Too many issues with the 2007.5...but for 08 and beyond RAM fixed most problems and the 6 speeds should be readily available too. The...- man n black
