You are taking a lot for granted, how many trucks have YOU worked on? I have seen stuff bent, cracked that was not noticed when taken apart , till you start to put everything back together, then something pops up, being on the other side don't matter, and sometimes plastic breaks when you try...- Marshall

I have 110V ac on my dash, but think it's rated at 400 watts, probably not enough for the battery charger, just looked at my 12/18V fast charger, rated at 2.75 amps AC = 303 watts , so may work, or not. I am sure mine has some sparse in the main box, Daughters car does. If the fuse was in the compressor, they would be different anyway When I use to carry small compressor back in the day, I always clipped it to the battery and kept the motor running, one of the Grandgirls has it as she is on...- Marshall

I wonder, been yrs since I rebuilt a starter or alternator, can you even buy brushes or solenoid anymore for these, I use to do lots, as a lot of my stuff was old when I bought it. I have been having trouble with the wifes 2008 Honda Crv, battery would crap out if it sat for a week, load test...- Marshall

Bolt thing in windsheld does anyone know what this is???
He can't seem to find his way back here, So I'm not going to worry, Mine has the over head stuff, but it does not go that far ahead, you can still see the headliner at the cover for the wires behind the plastic that runs up from mirror mount to headliner there is another sq bit of plastic... -
Breaking problem
I wonder, can you use a I phone 8 as a mic pickup? Guess I can check in settings. I have hearing aids and phone plays in to them on blue tooth, could be handy in place of a rubber tub in the ear to pick up noise. Until you drop the damn phone.- Marshall

With the windows down, can you tell if the motor is lugging down? If it’s a shifting issue, I would think you’d hear the motor rev up I never really stomp the pedal to the floor- Marshall

Bolt thing in windsheld does anyone know what this is???
Maybe a picture ,not so close from the side, I have to go look at mine now, damn stairs. Had a look on my 2014, I have a blk. plastic cover from the mirror up to the head liner, so can't see anything, one I did find when I tipped the mirror down was a family of dust bunny's -

I watched a RainmanRay auto repair, Name could be off? a few days ago and he was going over a Toyota minivan the the dealer had a sheet like that on, about $6K for stuff that did not need done, tires where one and that where almost new.
