383 Mopar? If so, that'd be pretty cool but as I imagine it is carborated it would be a little difficult trying to get everything to work properly.
If you plan on using it alot, I would just throw a 318 at her, a very easy and straightfoward swap.

When you turn the key to accessory, do you hear the fuel pump pumping?
Is your exhaust system blocked in some way?
I really am stumped by this seeing as you have replaced so much stuff.

Bleed the lines, change the fluid, look into rotors as well. Drums aren't all that bad and since your braking is done up front, give them the most attention.
