@Dave00 I'll also say... For the $$ take a long look at the Stage 1 TBR cam.... They are $449 and come with the phaser lock included.... You'll need springs and such tho....- shortman

Yea... Been looking hard at the BTR Truck Norris which does require a limiter..... I have a Diablo i3 hand held tuner and you can just buy a premade tune form someone.... I think the MMX no tune cam is really gonna be your best option, especially, if U have a 2015 or newer because it cost A...- shortman

Ram 6.4L intake manifold on a 5.7L.
Thanks @Wild one this is exactly the information I was looking for. I suspected the 6.4 intake had longer runners than the 5.7.... Now for a different sort of question.... I'm looking for more power down low for towing so the loss above 6000 is of no concern to me.... My truck has 111K...- shortman

I too have been looking at cams lately.... I don't think there is another cam, at least not that I have found, that promotes a power gain and without doing at least a phase limiter.... So.... Use that cam OR go with the factory NON MDS 5.7 cam...- shortman

Reading your first post you never mention buying a cam and lifters so did you? The guy from Reignited on YouTube, who is a Chrysler mechanic, says the engine will be stuck in 4 cylinder mode if you just remove the MDS solenoids and don't replace the cam & lifters.- shortman

Rear Axle Assembly Swap
Yup... I just replaced like for like except the salvage yard unit was sitting in the dirt for a bit so it has a few more rusty spots.... I pressure washed it before throwing it in the truck but it kinda needs some rattle can attention.... I pulled the axles outta the old unit this past...- shortman

MMX no tune required cam. Anyone running it?
You back off the tension on all the lifters then rotate the cam and it pushes the lifters up so the cam can be pulled out... Look it up on youtube.... There are several videos of guys doing it... With that said.... I'm in the camp of why would you swap the cam and not replace the...- shortman

Does anyone have the OEM specs on the 5.7 & 6.4 truck cams?? Would love to compare those to the Comp Stage 1 and the No Tune MMX cam...- shortman

Rear Axle Assembly Swap
Wanted to throw out an update on this..... My local metal scrap yard will take the axle.... I get $6/per 100lbs which is better than nothing so I'm gonna take it there..... Do you guys think yanking the axle shafts out would be worth my time? I have the complete assembly sitting on jack...- shortman
