I heard about the recent topic so I thought id add my PEA Experience. I did NOT bore scop anything as PEA has already proven itself enough to be an amazing cleaner. I think @Hemi395 did bore scope his results tho..??

Anyway. I wanted to see what would happen to the UOA after a very light but consistent run of PEA. I did basically every other tank at a 600:1 ratio. So a hair under 1/4oz of Redline S1 per gallon.

I did this for a full OCI.

the wear number were normal and did not change BUT the PEA diet did thicken the oil a bit. That is not good.

So be easy on the PEA as amazing as it is.

Blackstone said they did not see an effect of the fuel additive but ive done a handful of UOA’s and this is the ONLY one that has had the oil get slightly thicker. PEA diet was the only veritable changed/added

My truck was still flushing out all that Copper that Hemi’s tend to do when young.

Definitely remember that process but how can adding anything in the oil do this without harming something else.
I think they actually put something in the combustion chamber directly to get that effect in their video. No way adding to oil did this.

There instructions below:

"Carbon missing", is an engine decarbonizer. The decarbonizer and engine heat is converted into gas, which enters the internal parts of the engine, and enters the combustion chamber through the PCV to remove the carbon deposits in the combustion chamber, catalytic converter and oxygen sensor, and forms a hard film with tiny molecules in the gas. It can be structured with a portion of motor oil, saturate any instable molecules in engine oil, has unparalleled efficacy, and dramatically improves engine performance. Its features can remove carbon deposits in the combustion chamber of the engine, as well as the catalytic converter and the oxygen sensor, this allows fuel injection to have increased accuracy and the exhaust gas will be smoother. (Generally, in the market of decarbonizers, only the carbon deposits in the combustion chamber can be removed)

Product Description:

This product uses latest German high-tech carbon removal technology. It uses engine heat to convert it into gas, enters the throttle through the PCV valve, cleans the combustion chamber, catalyst converter, oxygen sensor, and discharges the carbon deposits out the pipeline and forms a protective film.

Product effect:

Remove the carbon deposits on the combustion chamber, catalytic converter, oxygen sensor, make the trip computer judge the fuel injection more accurately, reduce fuel consumption, and achieve fuel-saving effects

Pour a bottle of this product into the oil tank for every 4-6 liters of engine oil

Instructions:

The engine is warmed up for 5 minutes and then turned off, and then the carbon is not seen in the oil tank. Start the engine again for 30 minutes, and increase the engine speed in the last 5 minutes. Gasoline cars rotate at 2000-2500 rpm, and diesel cars at 1000-1500 rpm. During the process, it is normal for the exhaust pipe to emit white smoke and snuffy smell. carbon deposits are cleaned inside the combustion chamber, the gas emitted is non-toxic. Please be assured that it will not damage the internal parts of the engine. Please feel free to use it.

That's why I suggested just run the PEA tank right before your scheduled oil change. Problem solved.

Just sharing. I knew it would do something to the UOA before I even started. Just wanted to see a real life experience of it.

I run it 3 X a OCI now. 2x about 6 oz a tank. Last time I run a full bottle.

Iv have S1 on subscribe and save for like 4 or 5 years now. LOL.

Like 80 to 85 percent of all things supposedly recyclable, they throw out all pizza boxes because of oil from the pizza.

I heard a recycling spokesperson from the next county over being interviewed on the radio, in a 30 minute segment about local recycling. She said 80 - 85 percent of stuff they pick up goes to the landfill after sorting at their facility, and pizza cardboard was one of the items sorted out.

Having to pay the recycle truck to pick up every two weeks is really nothing but a big money grabbing scam.

Oily pizza boxes great for energy burners, but they want to ban that here, too.
It's finally dawing on these morons that closing the garbage burner needs more landfill space that puts off CO2 from decomposition anyway, albeit slower.

Scientists don't want to legislate, and legislators won't listen to us. So they keep stepping on their ***** over and over.

Even our house hold trash bins are a sorting station... this is roughly how my bins look like. #1. empties 2times/month and #2. 1 time/month

and included in the trash pickup service is Solid waste stations (big items) we can drop of all the big things for "free" the bigger stations also (pic billow of one) take your used engine oil, but if you come with a hole 55gallon drum the will not take it and says "you are a Business and need to pay", guess how I know

Ok, so if we want to go recycle w/o politics,

Riddle me this, crude oil is filthy right, and yet it is the base for all motor oils even redline. Not the ester portion but pao and any mineral oils. So if we can make crude into amber goodness, why cant we take used oil and rehab it in a similar process to refining crude? Is it simply economics? As in every single thing crude breaks down into is cha ching, but the only end game to recycling motor oil would be more motor oil which isnt terribly profitable in comparison? It cant be the simple use in an engine is harder on oil then billions of years of compaction with earthquakes and every thing else smashing it down? If it is possible, shouldnt we be storing used oil? My guess, the need is so massive we need crude to even come close to what we need to run automobiles.

There used to be reprocessed oil for sale in stores and gas stations, back in the day when stations were full service.

Around here, there used to be A to Z oil. After putting a quart of oil in the engine, the empty cans of oil were put on a rack to drain into a container. The container was then drained into clear quart bottles with a spout on them.

If your car or truck needed oil, which most did back then, you could buy a mixture for around half price. My dad loved those cheap prices on mixed oil.

Good question, like everything else it was very easy 10 years ago, but many places stopped taking old oil and the main place that always takes it only takes it on limited days and times, go figure. Plus they make you give them your drivers licence, lol??

So only 3 days at certain times, closed for a month at a time, and bring your drivers licence.

Autozone used to take it the last few times they are real pissy about it, no lie. I think they stopped as not all autozones take it, but the issue here is it is a very populated area and nobody takes the oil so it is a burden for autozone or anyone trying to do the right thing.

In MN all municipalities are required to have recycling centers including waste oil and filters. Just added antifreeze too.

Nothing required. Drive up, pour in waste tank, done. I use 5 gallon pails for wast oil.

They say oil stop is a good resource to leave oil. Kinda funny dyi oil change but take old oil to their shop? I see there is like 4 businesses in a town of 50k people, most of them do oil changes only autozone doesnt. It would be more effective to be able to recycle it at the city recycling center, they make it harder to recycle I bet good money a lot of guys dump it in the yard just because of the stupidity around recycling it.

If you ask me I really think this state is overfull of all recycling. It is a burden instead of true value due to population density. Perhaps aluminum cans is the exception.

Lots of shops around here take in waste oil as alot of them have waste oil furnaces
