I had one of them, too. Whenever I made a left-hand turn in second gear, the shifter would pop into neutral. The technician thought the cables may have stretched (even though the car was only a few months old), so he installed new ones. The problem remained. 2014 ram sunroof need help
Removing the sunroof glass may make the repair easier. It's held on by two bolts on each side (the Torx fasteners). Remove the bolts, and the glass lifts right out. These bolts are also used to aligned the glass with the contour of the roof. You want the front of the glass slightly lower than...- Hanover Fiste

What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?
You have a valid point. However, I only folded the mirrors in about a dozen times or so since I bought the truck. One gear has already broken, while the other one is showing signs of stress cracks. I plan on keeping this truck for a long time, so I opted to install better gears at this time.- Hanover Fiste

I replaced the weak plastic spur gear in both my outside mirrors with solid steel gears from Grüven Parts. Though only one was broken, the other one was showing stress cracks. It was cheaper to do both at once.- Hanover Fiste

I just did mine, both sides. The video really helped, though I don't know why it's set for "adult content." LOL.
