My 2005 Ram 1500 4X4 crew cab with 5.7 hemi is stuck in neutral. This evidently happened when being driven by previous owner. ATF level normal, clean and no unusual odor.
We changed both filters, (internal one's tube seemed loose), Valve solenoids also changed. NO change. Found linkage had fallen off side of transmission, but putting it back in place did not fix the problem. I saw something in thread of 4th generation talking about a neutral setting for towing, but I don't have any lights on in dash and have floor shifter for 4wd not button
Any information to help figure this out would be most appreciated.
