I've got a 21 Warlock with oem bed lights but they're not that great so I'm trying to add led pods on each side of the bed.
Can I tap into the oem bed lights or do I need to find another power source? I want the new lights to come on with the oem lights if possible.

Thread revival. How did you get up into the bed once you tapped into the red power wire?

I don't know what the OP did, but I tapped into the existing light in the bed. Just popped it off.

Did you just remove one or more of the OEM LEDs and wire to the backside?

And, how did attach any surface-mounted wiring?

.
Without having seen the backside of the OEM bed lights, I’m assuming he just tapped off of the red wire feeding it. Not a huge fan of them, but T-taps are really useful for situations like this.
