Plasti-Dipped my wheels today. Love the look but wondering how they are going to hold up. I know some of you guys have done yours as well. How are they holding up?

Mine have been done for over 6 months now and haven't had any issues with them trying to peel up or anything. I've also got my front bumper done too and no issues with it either

I think it looks great. Especially with the black nerf bars. I really like it.

Thanks. I want to powder coat my exhaust tips black so that the entire bottom of truck is black, no more chrome.

Had mine done for well over a year and they were fine. I've got part of my bumper done as well, and aside from normal rock chips, it holds up fine.

Do you think that Dupli-Color Shadow would be okay to use on our chrome-clad wheels?

I tryed the shadow on my Hondas grill and it started to peal after a couple of rocks hit it. I never could get the true black chrome look I was after. I think the shadow works best or small parts and not were it could get hit by rocks and such.

Not for me but I have seen fender flares dipped and it was pretty cool... Just a little loud for my taste

Did you take the wheels off to do it? I've seen people do both with it on and off. I want to do it to my wheels
