trying to see what my tow rating is for my truck, anyone know? 1500 hemi quad cab, 4x4 ? I have a 7500lb camper I would like to tow, any experience towing this much will i be maxed out and struggling towing this much? Only tow 1-2 times a year mainly flat highway in michigan?

You should be able to tow that with no real issues. It will probably make you sag a bit, but you can do it.

I do not know off the top of my head what your actual tow rating is. Look inside your drivers door at the sticker and it should give you your GVWR and all that information.

What gears do you have?
3:92s will be the more favorable gear, it's still a good bit of weight for the truck
Make sure you are "properly equipped" with weight distributing bars

Im confused on the different configurations above?
I believe since I have 20" wheels they all came with 3.92 gear but after that.... not sure above shows from 7400lb to 8500lbs??

You can either gears with the 20" wheels. You can check by climbing under the truck and there will be a sticker on the rear end

well I towed our new travel trailer home about 60 mile trip on the freeway, 6900 or so lb trailer , the truck strugled to go 65-70mph I was very disappointed?? Anyone else tow similar weight trailers, or am i expecting too much?
