Just a quick question, will a 1967 273 bolt up to a 1988 LA 904 trans? Thanks for the help!

short answer, yes. But the 88 TC has to be from a neutral (internally) balanced LA, like a 273, 318, 340. Not a 360, unless you knock the offset weights off the converter, first. When I say knock them off, please use a cutoff wheel to grind most of the weld bead off, first, before giving them a whack.

So itll bolt up but just remove the weights from my torque converter? Do you knw of any other modifications that will have to be done?

I don't see an issue. You might have to tweak the kick down linkage. I am assuming you're keeping the intake and carb from the 273, because the intakes are not interchangeable between 273 and all other LA's, as I recall.
