Working on hanging a new exhaust on a 1992 D250. The previous owner only had a straight pipe on it, after the turbo down pipe. I'm installing a full 4" Diamond Eye system, including a muffler. I got the muffler hung last night, but the brackets which are on the underside of the bed are bent/mangled, and I'm not very satisfied with it.
So far in searching I only find various universal straps/isolators for exhaust mounting - nothing that looks like the originals. Can someone point me to a source for original style brackets? Or if you used aftermarket straps, show a pic of how you mounted the muffler? Not looking for a perfect job, just something sturdy.
Thanks!
