Finally a more affordable option for those that want to tune but don't have a grand to shell out.

$600 from Moe's including Hemifever custom tuning.

Maybe I didn't see it, but there wasn't an option for the 6.4 Hemi Ram. Was there?

It will allow you to enter your specific vehicle at the top of the page. There are three options for the 6.4.

still not an option for the 6.4 trucks, only the 5.7 is listed on the diablo website for their PCM swap.

I think as more trucks go out of warranty this will really take off at half the price. If it wasn't for the possibility of my truck going to the dealer under warranty and being without a stock PCM mine would be on the way right now.

I selected th i2019 option and then at the top of that page is where you can edit your vehicle.

6.4 is listed on Moe's as an option but not on the Diablo website. Would have to call to see which way the wind will blow on that one.

Sorry, I must be looking at the wrong thing. Not up on the tuners but I see "Modified PCM & Trinity Combo 2016 6.4L - 6 Speed 2500" for $999.95. Is there something else needed?

that $999 price gets you a brand new unlocked PCM, not a swap out for the locked PCM in your truck. Moes and Hemifever may have something else going on as mentioned previously.

No I'm with ya brother. The way I understand it, to get it for that cheap you have to send back your factory PCM. To be able to have warranty work done at the dealership you need to have that one in your vehicle. So I am assuming you can't flash the tuned PCM back to factory settings so they can't tell it's been tuned. I am not much of a gambler so I don't know if I can get myself to do it. My luck the tranny would let loose due to the extra power. :idiot:

The idea of a reman'd PCM doesn't work for me. Unless they crack the security software i'll continue to wait.

Unless I missed something, they don't have one for the 5.7/6 speed auto, either (just the 8 speed). Rules me out, then.

Check out Ez-Lynk. They can unlock the ECM via their hardware in truck on the 15+ Cummins, they claim to be working on supporting the gas trucks as well in the future. They are currently more expensive of an option but do offer different features.

Either way, until costs come down I'll be holding off on tuning this truck.

I wonder if it's possible to find a wrecked Ram '15+ , grab their PCM and send it to Diablo for unlock so that I can keep my current one just in case for warranty work... hmm..

I doubt it matters to them as long as its good. They just need one to replace the one they send you. Then they unlock it and send it to the next guy.

Either that or keep yours now. You probably won't get a PCM from a wrecked truck for under $100.
