Well This is a thread about my 94 ram 2500 that I'm building into a fun street/strip truck. It started out as an old man truck that I got from a friend. It is now a single cab short bed that should be around 800 hp fuel only and more on the juice. It has a built auto with suncoast parts and a valair converter, he351cw/gt 5523 twins, Hamilton head and cam, big injectors from Weston pump mods and yadadada now for a few pictards of how the truck got where it is and will go from here.

had a issue with the nitrious that night and had to run fuel only, couldn't get the turbo to spool untill about the 330 ft mark.

Cut 16 inches from the frame welded and braced/boxed the area of the cut.

A quick mock up of the new hood and grill, I have decided to go with a sport bumper instead of the one in the picture and back with white paint. New black headlights, tail lights, window tint and mirrors. Also doing away with the stack in favor of a 5in Diamond eye kit with muffler.

How she looked before we pulled her into the shop. picked up a steed speed manifold and a valve job on the head. then back together it goes with the new cam!

Got it fired up for the first time in 7 months! still waiting on a drive shaft, some a/c parts and need to get my waste gate in but the biggest hurdle has been jumped.

And the exhaust was finished today has a 30 inch fte resonator and diamond eye muffler with the 5 inch kit. It got tucked in really well.

Truck has been down due to a massive oil leak and me being lazy and not fixing it :lol: But I have started working on it again and decided to change a few things up. First off the fuel pressure was not holding in my race with the cobra and egts were a bit high (pegged the 2000* gauge). So I decided to get an areomotive 1000, and build my twins that have been sitting around for to long.

The twins will be a He351cw over a gta5523, which works out to a 60mm over an 84mm. I'm using the tube header that I modified to t3 a 50mm jgs gate and the stock internal gate on the gt55 and the 351.

Im thinking about doing these in a similar fashion to a friend who used very similar turbos due to the fact that this header doesn't Pick the primary "Up" enough to clear the big boy.

The areomotive is the marine version, it will be fed by 5/8" line has a 100 micron prefilter and a cat 2 micron after filter. If this doesn't solve my fuel pressure issues then I have issues.

Found some better traction for the street/strip. I didn't like how the bias ply slick handled on the top end, way to shaky so I got some radials.

Got some stack breakers and the 5 inch v-band flange and clamp.

Then built the Waste gate pipe to the 2" stack breaker to make removal of the hot pipe actually possible LOL

And built the spring waste gate from parts found at the local Lowes LOL. I need to source a better spring for this thing but for now this will do.

Would have gotten further but my harbor freight 4 1/2 inch angle grinder died today, So I went to home depot and got a new Bosch 4 1/2inch

Oil lines are done, hot pipe is done, everything has been wrapped and painted, and now all that's left if the New fuel system and to fix the oil leak and she will be drivable! (and get 2 4.5 inch clamps my 4.25 were not cutting it of the inlet of the turbo)

Just got back from the first test drive with 0 tuning time. The 351 is going well before 2000 rpm and and at 20 psi the gt55 is starting to make some noise. Didnt go over half throttle but wow this thing is fun to drive! The new fuel system is working superbly, when boost goes up so does fuel pressure. Very happy so far and I will be doing some more tuning tomorrow.

This is all I have for now the new gauges have shown up but I'm fighting some boost leaks and exhaust leaks that need to be fixed before I can really play with her. I will be updating the thread as I make progress.

Thanks guys it has been a work in progress for a few years now. You guys in Texas should get to see it the 3rd of next month for the beach trip! New clamps for the waste gate and the turbo to turbo pipe are on the way. I have also installed some turbo blankets from Levi at turbo performance. He has a great product with super fast shipping.

If any of you are going to the diesel nationals this weekend in Ennis tx I'll be there.

The hood is a fiberglass duraflex brand I got off eBay.

You guys say sick build the wife says money pit haha. Most guys think it's just a 1500 with a 5.2 if they don't pay attention.

Fir your truck get the poem sort hood it's much better build than this one. This was my only option for my 2nd gen that didnt look like a baboons butt
