2004 Dodge Ram 2500 Hemi. Purchased December 2011 with 57,012 miles.
After getting it home I changed the oil and started to enjoy my new truck. It was the replacement for my 2001 Jeep Wrangler.
Put a 2.5" leveling kit in and 18" Moto Metal wheels and 305 BFG A/Ts. Also installed some bushwacker flares and later had them paint matched. Had a buddy tint the fronts and rear window.
After all of this I installed new rotors and pads at all four corners. While installing the brakes I noticed the upper ball joints were shot.
Sooooo.....onto the big investment. The front end.
I ended up doing upper and lower MOOG ball joints, the 08-up steering linkage with new tie rods, and the bigger steering gear. While all this was installed I did new wheel bearings, and front axle u-joints.
After dealing with all this crap the rear calipers seized up on me and warped my rotors. Installed new rear calipers and turned the rotors.
Then the exhaust manifold gaskets started to leak. Had those replaced at a shop with new studs. After they did that two O2 sensors failed which I replaced and then the drivers side cat went bad. At that point I had a custom exhaust made with two new cats of the head pipes into a 2-1 muffler with the stock 3" tailpipe and a Magnaflow 4" tip.
Today I swapped differential fluid and installed a front and rear Mag-Hytec covers.
