Yeah, I am looking at the AFE intake, MKM customs EGR delete kit and trying to decide if I should do the AFE DPF delete pipe or the whole 4" turbo back exhaust. Then searching which tuner would be best for the combo.
The problem you are going to find is that the govt cracked down on the diesel performance companies a few weeks ago. You can no longer buy a tuner for the 6.7's, and my diesel supplier has stopped selling any and all emissions delete parts until further notice. Yo might find someone that has the parts laying around, but these all sold very fast once everyone found out about the big changes. That is why I was saying you might have to start looking for a used setup.
Hmmm, The only issue would be a tuner. The DPF pipe is something I could fab. The benefit of being the Service Manager of a school bus fleet with 20 new 2013 Thomas C2's is parts.
We have replaced a few EGR cooler's already and the old ones have no core, so I can just take a failed one home. I could use that as a template for a delete kit if it comes down to it. But that still leaves the issue of a tuner.
I wonder if there are any tuners that are compatible with compliant emissions equipment and therefore are still legal? Better than nothing I guess.
I got my H&S Mini Maxx, Diamond Eye 5" turbo back exhaust, S&B intake and Glacier Diesel Performance EGR delete kit installed Saturday. This thing sounds like a tank idling in my driveway, when I turn the exhaust brake on it sounds like a jet taking off on high idle.
