I am looking at stock height for the RAM, cant afford gas anymore. :help:

IMG_1170.jpg

SAme wheels just lower, probably get rid of step up bars, and maybe drop the **** end to stay level.

This one is a straight on shot wheels forward, I am not sure what is easier. The other picture is better quality.

Also, I am thinking about PlastiDIping the wheels. The winters have been horrible on these wheels as wheel as one calliper going bad and they need to be either painted, PC, or PD'd.

THANKS! I appreciate your skills, I know I cant do this stuff. :superhack:

I think a 2 4 drop on 06-08 20s would look great on your truck but I like it lifted also

I agree, but for now I think most cost efficient would be to buy a set of tires for these. We will see once its Photo chopped. If it looks doo doo, Ill look at other options.

Going down to stock height or even a mild drop should certainly help your mileage. Especially if you go with a narrower tire. It'll also help with your road manners.

What size wheels ya got? I'd think you could go with a 275/55R20 (they look like 20s) to give you a nice 'narrow' tire that still fills out decent.

Eeeh. There aren't a lot of factory rigs with 18s. That'll make moderate tire selection more expensive, but shouldn't be impossible. I'd look for something in the 32" dia range.

What gears do you have?

4.56's :) should be able to spin a 32 inch tire fairly easy.

Hrm... With that much gear I think you'd wanna stick in the 33" range.
Otherwise your highway RPM will be... higher than desired.

Maybe a 275/70R18. Michelin makes the LTX M/S2 in that size with GreenX.
They are a good low resistance tire, should help optimize fuel mileage.
