It appears they mount right onto the seat rails. I have a QC. 40/60 split rear seat.

I'll have one as well. Brand new. Truck only has 300 miles. Removing it from '14 quad cab since I'll be installing a sub box.

The key to these is you need to have the required mounting hardware. Many people seem to be pulling them out, I'm not sure why.
