2017 Rebel Black

Well, someone at FCA finally realized they'd sell a helluva lot more Rebels if they offered something other than the hideous red interior!!!!!

I have to admit the Rebel has grown on me and since it has the BW 44-45 and air-ride I have been giving them a look but I just couldn't get passed the red seats and interior trim. Looks like they solved that issue

I have always loved the rebel exterior, but like you I couldn't get past the red interior. I showed those black rebel pics to the wife at lunch time and told her I would need her help to keep me from swapping my 15 off lol.

I just put rebel wheels on my express and I am seriously considering swapping out the bumper and grill with the rebel front end.

I wasn't in love with the grill but it has grown on me, especially on the right color truck. I've always been a fan of the front bumper!

And I wouldn't mind 17's!

My truck came with chrome clad sport 20's. I really like the look of them but more so for a 2wd. With the rebel 17's on it definitely looks a lot more like a 4wd should.

I did lose about 1.5 mpg but it may be the winter blend gas, I will have to wait until summer to be sure.

I know its filthy but i have a company work truck so I park the hemi around back. Looks like it will be a while before I get to clean it up.

I kinda regret not getting the rebel wheels instead of my AM 20's.

They did say the Rebel Black would be available in all the current exterior colors.......personally I think the "black" trim and what not is gonna be huge! I hate the glare I get from all the chrome trim prices in my truck, especially from the center console. And the woodgrain in the Laramie ain't that great, would LOVE to have the woodgrain and chrome replaced with black. Would look much better IMHO.

Meh still a cop out truck imo. If ram would nut up and make a comparable to a raptor I would be interested.

I do like the Rebel but as others have mentioned never liked red interior. The black interior does look a bit more classy imo. I'm on the side of the black rims being over played but they look alright. I just can't get myself to buy another black truck though. I think black looks the best when washed and waxed, it is sharp! Problem is you can't keep it clean for long and shows every paint imperfection.

I'm still not over looking at my black truck and being pissed it was dirty the day after I spent the afternoon washing and waxing it up.

After 20 plus trips to the dealer for warranty work over the last 2 yrs, I was done with my 2014 Sport. I always liked the Rebel but didn't like the red interior either. I then saw this red 2016 Mopar 16 Rebel at a local dealership. I was sure I wasn't going to like the red interior, but once I saw it in person, I liked it. Maybe it's because the truck is flame red?....I don't know, but it looks good to me. I guess only a father can think his ugly kid is good looking. :happy107:

Very nice truck. The red interior really works great with the red rebels.
