I have a 2014 big horn crew cab.
I got what I feel is a good deal. Sticker was $48,000. I'm paying $345 per month with $3,000 down. The buyout is $26,000.
I will have around 30,000miles on the truck when the lease is up.

So my question is, are the 2017's that much different from the 2014's?

Anyone get a lease deal on a 2017 similar to what I'm paying?

I'm torn and can't decide. I'm hoping you guys can help me with my decision.

No huge difference in the 2017's at all. I have a 2014 Big Horn 6.4L truck and I checked over a similarly equipped 2017 the other day. Other than the color, the rest of the truck was just like sitting in mine.

One thing that decided it for me was that I've modded out my truck and can tune it cheaply compared to the cost to tune a 2017.

Besides, I only have 20K on the 2014 and an extended warranty. I'm good for now.

If I were you I would just lease and wait for the redesign.
You never know how good or bad it will be so if your on a lease it will be easier to get into the new one if you like it.

But to answer your question no there is not much difference from 2014 to 2017 just a few not really noticeable ones.

I'm new to RAM so I can't speak for a 14 as I can barely speak for my 17 yet. However, to help you with your lease in my area (Philadelphia PA) according to the sales manager the 17s don't have great incentives yet as far as the money factor goes which is basically the interest rate on a lease. He says starting in April they will have a much better money factor which will reduce the monthly payments on leases. I was impatient and took a 17 crew cab express black package on 12/8. I had the option of a 16 big horn crew or him finding my truck but a 16 for $30 less monthly so if things are the same in your area it looks like the 16 left overs are great deals or waiting til spring time for the 17s to lease better.

I just picked up a 2017 4x4 3.6L lease for $0 down and $259/mo

Buyout is $24500

I would go for the 2017

OP at 24k loan more than likely you will take another 5 year loan out? just think that you turned it into a 7 year total payment on that truck.

you could buy a new 17 big horn for not much more than you currently are paying

Are you planning on tuning at all? If so I would stick with the 14. If not, go for a 17.

Simple, is your truck worth more then 26k? If so, why would you let it go? Like my boy 395 said, stay put. Change those plugs out and put anti seize back with new plugs, on threads only. The great upgrades already happened on the 14, 8 speed, coil suspension yada. Is it 4wd? What gears??
