Buying my truck tomorrow!

Ordered my 1500 4 months ago, it finally came in today!

Test driving (it was dark tonight) and purchasing tomorrow (so long as all goes well).

$5k off sticker (2016 model - $2k in rebates, $3k to invoice). Adding taxes and fees at $2.3k. Purchased a protection package - tinting the Windows, treating the cloth and leather on the interior, protecting the paint, and undercoating the vehicle. Package was $2.2k, got it to $1.6k.

Pictures will come, but most importantly - any recommendations on what to pay specific attention to when inspecting and test driving?

Hard to notice flaws during the excitement. Congrats by the way. A good freeway spin to make sure there's no vibration in the driveline. Make sure there's no "tick" on start up if it's a hemi. Check for any paint thin areas--around door bottoms especially. Also paint imperfections such as bubbling. Make sharp turns (cranked all the way right and left) like going in a driveway to check for squeaks or groans. Check bed bottom for large gaps, and check overall body condition. Sometimes a dimple or dent slips by. That's all I can think of....members?/

Thanks for that input, I've tried to keep excitement out of the equation. Hopefully all will be well today.

Why wouldn't you get the protection package, out of curiosity.

Check for paint issues near door bottoms. Mine had sand/dirt under the paint that had to be fixed.

Congrats! ^^ this. looks like an outdoorsman, but I have seen this paint scheme on Bighorns too. I think they are changing it up for 2016 paint colors.

Yep, it's an outdoorsman. Blue streak and black, got the backup camera and park sense and 9 amplified speakers and sub. Crew cab Hemi 8 speed. It's raining today but I plan to have a nice little photoshoot with it. Is there any other way to upload more than one pic other than using photobucket??
