Alright folks. I had a little bit of luck at the casino this past weekend and came home with an extra $500 in my wallet. Of course I cant just put it in the bank, Ive got to spend it on my Ram! :naughty:

So here is my question. I'd like to add more performance to my truck and something that will give me the most bang for my buck.

Here is what I have so far:

2013 Ram 1500 Sport Hemi 5.7
MagnaFlow 18's
K&N Air filter (not CAI)
Hemi Fever Tune
Tonneau Cover
275/60/20 Falken WildPeak AT3 (loving these things so far. SUPER quiet)

Thoughts on performance mods? Moes 87TB, CAI, anything else I am not thinking of? Id like to stay within the 500 dollar range.

Please let me know! Thanks!

I have 3.21 gears. Think a TC would be worth it?

Your 29, and while i dont know your financial situation, I'd say put it in the bank and invest it in a stock with a decent dividend. i know you asked about stuff for your truck, but just throw it into a Scottrade account or retirement account. i think your truck is optioned just fine with all the mods you already have. maybe in a couple of years it will grow.

Not near as much fun, but this is adult advice.

Okay dad, the guy asked for advice on what he can but for his RAM why did you not offer advice ? You've tried to give min a lesson, he's 29, what makes you think he doesn't know how to invest and save. In the future it would be nice if you could help when asked and not tell people something completely unrelated. Its rude.

I got the S&B intake with a 85mm TB, but Id suggest the vararam and the 87mm ported TB.

CAI, of course. That doesn't negate the fact that some people show little restraint when trying to be big daddy. No one cares about his investment strategy.

Put the $500 on black for just one spin then you can buy twice as much stuff for your RAM. [emoji106]

The 87 MM throttle body is a good upgrade. The torque convert is also a good upgrade but $500 isn't enough unless you can put it in yourself. Do the cheapo hose upgrade on your airbox it does help, skip the oil catch can it has no performance value.

Level it, HIDs/LEDs, tint, etc.

Your truck is parked/sitting still more than it is moving probably so work on appearance mods. Your performance basics are covered there kid

@sportznuts - Thats how I won the $500 in the first place! :favorites13:

Thanks everyone for your input! Got some thinking to do. But the CAI and 87 TB some like a nice combo!

Thanks again

A lot of good advice. The magic of compound interest over a couple of decades can make a huge difference.
