I have a 2011 1500 HEMI with 26,*** miles on it. For the past month the truck has been acting a bit weird and I cant figure out the issue. The truck has a cold air intake and ARH long tubes with a Magnaflow exhaust. about 1 month ago I got a check engine light P0133 & P0153 left & right front 02 sensors saying "slow response" so I changed both of them with OEM parts. Check engine light never came back on. The problem is sometimes the truck starts to idle low around 500RPM and my truck always idles at about 750RPM. The truck also seems to loose a bit of power when it starts to idle funny. Any ideas?

Dirty MAF sensor with intake? Have you checked the sensor lately?

I may be wrong but I don't think the 4th gen hemi's have either of those.

No mass air flow sensor or idle valve

Probably something to do with you don't drive it enough! Try taking it out for WOT, maybe the throttle body needs some carbon to be cleaned out.

PCV ?

I have almost the same setup as you and have 02 codes as well. Different, but I also changed sensors. Checked leaks. Intake sensor, etc. My CEL always comes back on on start up when previously cleared.

Mine:
P2245 high ref voltage bank 1 sensor 1
2 others I can't remember the code number.

When warmer I'll check more thorough.

Check your TB. Mine caused issues before.

try cleaning your throttle body. I have had the exact same issue on 2 previous cars. I know lots of guys like them but anything I have ever put a CAI on has had this exact problem.

My truck idles at about the same spot. It only started doing this after my most recent oil change. At that time they updated the computer. It may sound weird but since then I have seen an increase in my fuel economy. Not much of an increase but still an increase.

I really baby this truck. I should get on it more often to clean the plugs and cats out. I cleaned the throttle body about 10,000 miles ago when I changed the plugs also. Could maybe be a PCV issue i'm going to check that out. I really appreciate everyone's responses. Dealer said it's my headers but I don't think so. I've had those on for years. This problem started maybe 6 weeks ago with the 02 codes.

It might be carbon build up somewhere. Lots of short trips will cause that too. Years ago I had a Northstar Cadillac. Those motors were famous for getting bad carbon build up if you baby them, and 90% of owners are the elderly lol. A few times a month I would drop it in 2nd at around 40MPH and hammer it to about 90 and then let it coast back down. Seemed like the more I beat on that motor the stronger it ran. Might want to try beating on that Hemi lol.

Do you have a custom tune? Those ARH Headers run ruff without the tune sometimes.

run a bottle of chevron techron through the gas tank a couple of times and see if that helps.
