Thinking about selling my R/T. Bought new in March, 6500 miles. Sticker was $38,000, I added about $2k in after market pieces, bed liner, 2/4 drop, ram air, muffler, misc stuff. It has Nav, enter n go, remote start. Great truck, I just get bored easy. What would be a fair price to ask? Truck is paid for

$27K-$30K would be my guess. Really is too new and would be competing with current incentives for new trucks on the dealer lot.

Trading in will cut you at the knees at the dealership level. Also, do not get to wrapped up in your $2k in accessories, most people do not care about that and will give you at best 50 cents on the dollar.

Being "bored" is gonna cost you either way.

Yeah...ur not going to make much as all. I think $30k would be the highest you might get...realistically... $25k.

If you want to make some money out of it, you might need to hold on to it for a year or 2.

Was offered $25 trade in. Carmax will give me $30k. I actually only paid $29,600 + tax. Will be selling tomorrow and have a car picked out. I will buy a beater truck later.

Wow if you 30k I would take that and run. As stated previously the truck is still too new and you can get a brand new truck for slightly more. The aftermarket accessories are useless as far as resale goes. Personally I'd want money off of the truck because it's lowered. I didn't buy a truck to have car type ground ckearance. Make sure your next vehicle is one that you will keep for a little while as you get killed in tax, title, and tags if you purchase a new vehicle every six months. Lease a vehicle if you always want something new. There's better places to spend your money.

I was very happy about the offer. I also kept the vararam, so will sell it. The salesman at the place I tryed to trade it in, told me to take it to carmax.
