Long time Jeep owner/ New Ram convert!

Hey all,

I've been on the forums skimming threads here and there and figured I should introduce myself. My name is Sean and I'm a former Jeepaholic... haha. I've built numerous XJ's, WJ's, and my last build was a 2005 Grand Cherokee; 5.7 hemi, 6" lift, 35" duratracs, and enough armor to withstand an IED lol. Just two weeks ago I traded the beast in for a nice new '12 Ram Sport. I fell in love w/the powerful hemi in the GC and love the smooth onset of power in the new Ram. Looking forward to some more insight on mods and getting to know everybody here.

Nice jeep and truck. I had a few jeeps and loved them but just not so much for DD though. The ram is great to drive everyday and run around town. Pretty sure I'll get another jeep sometime but for trail use only. Anyways, nice truck

Thank ya fellas! I agree, a wheeler doesn't make a great DD. I will sooner or later build another jeep, but it will be a trail rig. Got some plans for the truck but am trying to restrain myself from going big Haha. The gf loves the truck the way it is but I've already ordered the 18" Magnaflow and might be doing the S&B Intake as well as some 305 Nittos!

just a heads up, if your truck is 4x4 the 305's will rub. You will need 1/4" inch spacers.

Congrats on the new truck! I've always liked Jeeps and always will. Jeeps are all my brother has ever owned ('93, '97' and '06 Rubicon on 35s). That was a very nice GC you had.

Already been scouring the threads for pics and that setup. Planned on the 1/4" spaces. What brands are guys running besides the super Spendy Motor sport tech ones?
