I just traded my '00 F350 for this new ram about a week ago. I really like it so far even tho I haven't put many miles on it.
I normally would have gone for another ford, but the f150s are so damned ugly to look at I figured I'd give this thing a chance.
It's a pretty basic truck, crew cab 4x4, hemi, body color grill/bumpers, etc. Most importantly, steering column shift and no floor console!
I admit i miss the old ford, its huge bed and monstrous engine...But I don't really haul much anymore other than a medium size travel trailer. And I won't miss the noise, log wagon ride and repair costs and rust that come with a 10+ year old truck. The new truck sure is smooth and quiet!
