New to forum. After tons of research and 20 different opinions from multiple shops i finally got it all straightened out i hope. All i did was a 2" level in the front and 35x12.5x20 toyo a/t extremes, fuel throttle wheels with -12 offset and i love the way it turned out. Truck rides perfect and have not had it rub so far. It looks like i will need the 1" in the rear but for now im extremely happy.

Looks like you got it all figured out, cause that looks great. Good to see your first post is one with pics and the fact you did research instead of just posting a bunch of questions like others. I applaud you for that right there sir. Job well done.

Luke.

You said it looks like youll need a 1in lift in the rear. Why is that? Are they hitting the fenders under load?

I have a 2015 Big Horn with a 2.1in level kit. I'm swapping out the 20 inch wheels for 17x8 with a 0 offset. I want 35in tires. I cant decide if I should go 35.12.5 or 315/70. The biggest different between the two is the tire width and from what i'm reading the 35x12.5 need a 9in width. Ive searched this forum pretty well and i have not come across any posts where someone has used a 315/70.

What is the height to the bottom of the front edge of your side steps? Where the metal meets the plastic cap. I have same truck, steps; stock suspension and tires. Looking to do level on mine with probably 275/65/20. Thanks and nice truck.

No rubbing under load. The truck squats very easy with weight in rear so im gonna put air bag helpers in the rear. Makes the truck look out of level is all. The biggest thing ive learned with the wheels is the width of the tire. I do not believe u will fit a 12.5 inch tire on a stock rim. I did not try so not sure i just know that with an offset like my wheels that it worked. I skipped even trying it. Ive heard guys putting spacers in but not sure recommended. I also dont believe u can put a 12.5 on a 8" wide rim. I know 9" will work. U can easily fit almost any size height tire as tall as 35 as long as its only 11" wide or less there plenty of room in there. The 315 70 is for a 17" wheel so prob isnt much talk about it on here. Guys running 20s run 305 55 or 275 65. Hope this helps some

Thanks. I ended up going with the ATX Ledge 17x8 with the 0mm offset. I also went with the 315/70-17 wheels. Given the difference in offset and the extra 1 inch in tire width over stock, I think I'm going to have the untucked look I want.

Thanks. I love it. I've lost about 1.5 mpgs. I may add the bilsteen shocks in the back. I prefer more tire than wheel on trucks that's why I went with the 17in wheel.
