whats the ride comparison? i know the bilsteins will be stiffer but how much over factory? is it a nice firm ride or rough?

Not as stiff as a factory 2500. Much smoother over most bumps. Over chatter type bumps about the same.

Are you going to run them at stock height, with stock tires? Or, are you going to use it to run larger tires? Regardless, I'd say they will ride better than OEM. But, I have less than 100 miles on mine...the truck just sits.

well my truck is 2wd, so since i cant use the ride height adjustables, i would have 5100s from a 2500 since ill be leveling the front end with 2in spacers. ill be going from 17s to 20s and 31s to 33s so i believe its really hard to say how its gonna turn out until its done. but just a general comparison between oem and 5100s was what i was wondering

I think they improved the ride of my truck after I put them on. I put all four on at the same time and the fronts are set at 2.8. If anyone is interessted, I'm selling the stock shocks for $40 each. They have 15k on them.

Bilsteins are great and I have no complaints about the quality of them. Very nice shocks. The ride is super smooth...
