I havent picked my truck up from the shop yet but I did notice in a picture that the e brake cable is exposed now after a 3" body lift. My buddy who did the install said he doesnt see a way to move it up out of sight, so I'm curious what you guys have done to hide it?? Is there a way to relocate or move it?? Has anyone actually taken it off completely? Thanks for the help.

Ill try and get some pics up, but mine is hidden by my steps! I put it over top of the mounting brackets for them, thus pulling it up and out of site. Doesnt mess up the functioning of it, so thats good.

I thought of that too. Wanting powersteps, but they aren't really in the budget right now. Lol. Looking for an alternative until then.

Amp steps will require a lot of fab work since we have the 3" body lift. And a lot of $$$$ lol

I have the same problem with mine but mine does not hang as low as yours for some reason. Was thinking about making a bracket to get it up a little more.

Its run through factory brackets on the bottom side of the frame, you could just get new brackets welded on to run it on the top side of the frame..it would bring it up about 1".

Really? From the pics I've seen it looks like they mount straight to the backside of the body. Doesn't matter though. Waaaay outta my price range.

Good idea, I'll have to take a look.

I'd look at some black nerf bars. Westin or NFab makes some great nets that will hide things well
