I lifted mine bc 4wd would never get used anyways and it was easy to lift my truck and it turned out great. No regrets here and I have a cst 7"

Pics? Also what are your rim/tire specs?

I've been looking around for lifts for my 3500, but finding everything for 4wd. Where is a good place to go for 2wd kits. I'm thinking about a 3" lift front and rear.

I did find one on ebay, but that's ebay. Made by ROX SUSPENSIONS. Does have a lifetime warranty, but I have never heard of them. It's only about $200.

Can anyone confirm that the 2009-2012 2WD suspension is all the same? I've heard only the 4x4 model in 2012 changed.

If so, I should be able to order any 4th gen kit.

If you don't need a 4x4 but love the looks of a lifted truck with aggressive tires it's a great idea. You can get a rear locker and they will still go really well off road. :peace:

So i just picked up a brand new Ram Quad Cab Big Horn 1500, and im interested in lifting it (eventually).

In my opinion, i like the look of a lifted truck, but lifting a 2wd truck essentially is useless otherwise.

What are everyones opinions? Is it dumb?

Is it dumb that I have the clearance to run across the ruff desert at high speed? Is it dumb to like the look? Is dumb that I don't need 4x4 but just the clearance?
Serious offroad I would recommend a lifted 4x4(rock crawling and deep mud), mild offroad a lifted 2wd with good tires will do just fine. And in the snow LMAO I don't go nowhere with bare tires, but when I put my heavy duty chains it's like the snow and ice is not even under me.:lol::lol::lol:

This is a video of my 2wd with a 7" cst lift w/cst shocks:naughty:

Search Readylift on this site man. i think you'll be surprised. Im going with the Readylift SST kit ReadyLift 2009-2011 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD Only SST Lift Kit

It has 2.25" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. I have seen several trucks with 35 x 12.50 20's on them. Some say slight rubbing of lugs on tire at full extreme lock. If you don't have to extreme lock your truck all the time to turn, you should be good. Im gonna go with that set up. Sounds like not a lot of lift but if you look at the pics, its a HUGE difference. It's a nice kit, I like the fact it comes with Bumpstops.

here you go this is from redrik.

I'd say go for the pre-runner look. They're all 2wd.

There are a ton of us out there, to each his own, the set up you are looking at is a good one, it will put the rake back in your truck,if that is what you want, but lifted more, be warned,it is never high enough......
this is the CST 7 inch ..with 305/55/20

Here's my 2wd lifted and I wouldn't have it any other way. It has a RC 6" cross member lift with 1.5" front coil spacers sport'in 10" Moto Metals wrapped in 305/55 Nittos.

2wd with a mild lift here, I just want clearance. if I need to get somewhere in 4x4, I take my 4wheeler.

don't waste money on the readylift! you can level your front for less than $90 plus installation, plenty of vendors sell spacers for cheap, any questions pm me
