Hi,

I started with the bilsteins set at 2.1. Also, I added a 1.5" body lift kit.
I should've just went straight for the 6" lift...lesson learned. :(
I'd prefer to maintain the 1.5" body lift and keep the bilstein shocks (if possible).

Here's the rub, I'm not looking to drop 2k on a BDS suspension lift. I'm looking for a more economical 4" lift. Anyone try this:

This is all for looks, no off road use. Probably add 35" tires as well.

I went with the zone 4" with 3" rear coil and it was $1380. Zone is a division of BDS. I also have bils up front which I set to 1.4 with the lift and my truck sits level. 19eb71b455952ba5a4d7c3db8fb38cd8.jpg

Hey, 2014greatwhite!
I’m new to the whole truck scene I just got a 2014 ram 1500 hemi 5.7
I’m lost when it comes to lift kits, wonder if you got any info towards what’s going to give me a good smooth ride yet still be a good lift? Any info would be great!
Thank you!

long term get a good kit that keeps the geometry right or you'll wear out front end parts. Uca's etc.

After reading the instructions on the Linked kit I would not recommend that kit at all. It will not ride good like real 4" suspension lift kits do just for one reason ."If" you like the ride you have now you can always do as I just did , remove the 1.5" BL and replace it with a PA 3" body lift. I just did and can tell you the 3" is easier to install than the 1.5 "now you have closer to 5" lift.

I would recommend a bds or zone lift they are good quality lifts. Mine ride just as good as stock if not a little better or you could go the route of 3” body lift instead and keep factory suspension.
