hello everyone. well heres my story a while ago i had a daystar leveling kit put in my 2010 qc laramie 1500. i left it up to the mechanic and he ordered the kit and didnt really tell me anything about it. i bought it blindly and just went along to what this guy said. all i know is its daystar leveling kit. ik very dumb on my part for having to be in the situation. however it never looks leveled and i want it leveled for this summer. i measured the truck and the rear sits 2 inches higher and the rear spacers arnt even in.Does that sound even slighlty normal like what could it be a half inch strut spacer lol. i want to put a hellbent steal 2.5 in or a rcx 2.5 would i see better reults. ps i have the rear spacers i measured them the total height is 2 inches and the inside of the spacer has max height of 1.5 inches .thanks everyone

What you wrote is a tad confusing.
Do you have spacers in the front and back?
Sounds like you do and that will be your problem.

If that's the case remove the rear spacers as nothing will help you get higher up front
If no spacers and you got 2" rake, then you have a 1" front coil spacer.

Help to she'd more light so we can better assist

This is normal. The only way you're going to get close to exactly level is with the 2.8" Bilsteins. The general consensus here is that even at 2.5", you still have a rake. I had a pro comp 2.5" leveling strut spacer and I measured 38.5" in front any 40" in the rear.

These Dodges just don't level like Chevys/Gmc or Fords with spacers. To avoid not being happy, I'd highly recommend the Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks and pump them up to 2.8". It seems like there's always at least one post a month with something similar.

What he said....this is something we can source for you

Truly, each ram truck seems to be different. The avg rake is 2.75"
But there are a few that have a rake of 3" and the odd 3"+

If you have that much rake, then it surely isn't a 2" or 2.5"

I agree , I have a 2.5" HBS and it is really close to level , about .5" rake. From what I have read , if you go any higher you will be getting in to premature failure on your front end parts.

Something must not be installed right. I have the HBS 2" kit and I look pretty damn close to level

Are your front tires flat :p jk

I also only have a 2 in up front, and my front wheel well measures in at like 39.5, and more or less perfectly level. Something is wrong here, but to my knowledge no one makes a spacer that thin...

One thing to remember, at least with the HBS kits, measuring the spacer itself is less than actual lift. I.e. a 2" spacer may only be around 1.75" thick. Maybe he put a 1.5" kit on. When I put on a hbs 2", I think I had about 1 - 1.5" rake. I have since switched to the 2.5.

I have a hbs 2.5" level and mine sits perfectly level, depends on how I'm parked but sometimes my front even looks a tad bit higher than the rear

This is part of the reason I chose to go with 5100's all around, using the adjustables up front set at 2.1 or whatever the second ring position is. It all but completely leveled the truck (I didn't want to be exactly level, I tow and put stuff in the bed a lot).
