I am fixing to pull the trigger on a RC leveling kit. I know that it comes with the 1.75" rear lift also so my truck will still have some rake to it. The rake is going to be OKAY that way my nose won't be completely in the air when pulling a trailer.
Any reason not get this over the Hell Bent leveling kit.
TIA!

get the hellbent, the studs are pressed/welded in those the rc kit uses crappy cinch bolts. if i was doing it, get the hb level and grab some airlift 1000's. about $50 more bucks, but you can be level and still tow with ease

I agree with Atom. You can always just get the 2 in kit from HBS, and the Airlift kit gives you 3/4 in at 35 psi. It is a solid combo, and gives you good control over load leveling. It is what I did.

I've had the rcx kit for almost a year now with no problems, front has never loosened up. Plan on adding the airlift this summer.

it won't loosen up once you get it on, the install with those cinch bolts in not ideal. RC should jump on the bandwagon and weld in the studs already.

I got the 2" HBS and I like it a lot. Gives it just a small amount of rake.

I see no reason at all especially if you are ok with the rake

We are soon to be setup on the RCX line....so let me know if you need any help or have questions :)

Rough Country leveling kit Pros & Cons

I have the rcx kit, been on for 8 months with no issues. Started with just the front spacer but I ended up installing the rear too. I like it a lot better with both spacers installed.

After reading reviews of this leveling kit I am having 2nd thoughts. How hard will it be to change my struts later with this leveling kit?

Where can I get a 1.75" rear coil spacer for $50?

I could go HellBent 2.5" and someone else's rear spacer.

Is the Rough Country a true 2.5" lift in fron or just 2"

What type of reviews are you talking about? You know daystar makes a kit that's front and rear as well.

No harder than pulling them out to install the kit. They just bolt on top of the strut.

Yes and no. You get the 2-2.5" out of lift but the spacer only measures 1.75"

You can mix and match. A lot of people run hbs up front and rcx in the rear. The rcx kit is a great kit for the price. No spacer leveling kit is going to ride any better than the next. If you want adjustability look into bilstein adjustable 5100's. They will cost more but the ride quality will be better.
