I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot. So My service 4WD light is coming on and no 4wd. I used it on Friday to back a trailer up a hill in my yard to help prevent my tires from spinning. It worked fine, hauled two loads of brush to the land fill. On the last load the light came on, I cycled the key and it went away. Then later that day it came on again, did the key trick it went away. So I drove to a dirt area to test the 4wd and it worked no more light. Now today it came on twice cycled the key a few times and it went away. Then it came on again and the key trick didn't work. I hooked up my Diablo I2 to see if I'm getting any codes, non not a single code. I reloaded my stock tune still had the light, so I put the Hemi Fever back on, it finally went away. So I decided to test it, so switched to 4 auto, then 4wd lock no problem. Then once I put it in 4lo the light came back on and no 4wd. I tried to cycle the key and it never went away. I said screw it I'm making an appointment and taking it to the dealer. I hooked the trailer up because I have to return it tomorrow parked in the driveway and turned the truck off. I tried the I2 one more time turned the truck on NO SERV 4WD light. We did get a lot of rain the last couple of days, so I unplugged it at the transfer case and checked for corrosion, water, dirt, anything. It was clean. i have had it come on intermittently in the past mostly in the winter and snow. Trailer does have brakes don't know if plugging that in and engaging the brake controller had something to do with it going off.
Bottom Line, does anyone have any info/ idea what it could be. I know this was long but I appreciate your time and help. I Still plan on taking it ti the dealer.
