Looking at getting my '14 crew cab short bed in the air some. Came across the rough country 3" no cut lift kit. Does anyone have thoughts/experience with this kit? Seems like a lot of spacers. Wonder if you could toss out the strut spacers and use the Bilstein lift struts for better ride.

I have the Rough country 2.5" leveling preload spacers, And I couldn't imagine trying to get it out in with an additional strut spacer up top. I had the lower control arm as far down as it would go trying to the struts back in place. I like my Leveling kit tho. Installed the rear coil spring spacers but took them right back off because it sat up a good bit higher in the rear!

How do you like the 2.5"? What size tire are you running? And why would you take out the rear spacers when essentially the rake is less with that kit?

All spacer lifts are junk on these trucks. I'm running Bilstein 5100's set at 2.8" up front and a 1" spacer in the rear with 35/12.50/20 MT's and its about perfect.

Are you rubbing with the 35s? Or did you trim Plastic? Specifically what tires

No rubbing, and I didn't trim anything. I'm running Kanati Mud Hogs

I like the 2.5". I'm running factory 33's right now. Didn't care for the Rake with the spacer in the rear. This is a pic without the spacers in the rear, Just the front Preload spacer!

I agree with you, but all these trucks sit different it seems. I have bilsteins set at 2.8 and a 1" rear spacer with no rake.
