Hey guys trying to install my level. I did the back shocks no problem, the fronts on the other hand... I've been trying to get the balljoint separated from the UCA for 3 hours and it will not budge, think a pickle fork will get it? Or has anyone used another method? I used a block of wood and a metal bar to try and pry it and nothing. Any info would be appreciated!

Hit side off the steering knuckle with a hammer. Ride on the side where the ball joint goes thru. Sometimes it helps to hold a hammer against the opposite side your hitting. The pressure or shock from the hammer will break it free.

It's easier to hit if you turn the wheel all the way right or left.

spray it good with wd-40 and let it sit, repeat as necessary and like said above hit it with a small sledge hammer....the shock will break it loose.

edit: it took us forever to get the passenger side off because we didn't spray with wd-40....before we did the drivers sizd we sprayed and let it sit several times. Still didn't pop off with one hit, but it didn't take nearly as long.

Whacked the knuckle with a 5# sledge, snd gave it a couple boot kicks. Dropped right out on my 11' w/ 60k.

You can hit the ball joint bolt with a punch that is slightly smaller so you don't damage the threads. A pickle fork will smoke the grease boot if you try and use it.

Yeah I did wd40 but didn't hit with a hammer? It says specifically not to hit with a hammer because it could damage aluminum?
