SO after having previously had 2013 5.7, 6 speed trans 3.92 rear, i traded for a 2017 outdoorsman with a v6. While it is by no means as fast or powerful as my hemi was it is no slouch and moves along just fine with it's 8 speed and little old 3.21 gears. It currently has the 275/60 r 20 factory good years on it. What I'm wondering is how bad can i expect to bog it down going to a 275/65 instead? I know I know most will say shoulda kept the hemi blah blah blah... but really my day to day driving the 6 is plenty, i have other toys for burning tires and going fast. This one is for comfort and looking good.

any thoughts, educated guesses or even better actual experience would be greatly appreciated.

You won't notice the .5 inches of sidewall. You're basically going from a 33" to a 34" inch tire.

You should be fine, I have 295/60R20's on my truck and don't notice any real difference in power. I'd think that would be about the same overall amount of tire weight as 275/65R20. I do have the 3.55 gears and I have a regular cab so that might help me a little also.

Are you running that size on any kind of lift/level, stock rims? if not what? Thanks

Do you have 3.21 or 3.55? Also, did you notice a big hit when you went to 33x12.50?

3:21 and no. My 33x12.5 are awesome. Love them. The look is perfect and the ride is not as I expected. After performing a road force elite balance. She rides smooth and the noise is minimal.
