Just a few pics of the vinyl overlays I just put on. Something a little different compared to plasti dip. A few other members had them and I decided to give them a shot. Fairly simple process, just take your time. Hardest one was the "5.7 liter" as it was one whole piece, and I didnt get it quite perfect so some of the red shows through.

Lots of diff color options too. Only thing is, I wish they had them for the big horn and ram heads. Im assuming they are too curvy for the vinyl.

We'll see how they hold up through WI winters and lots of car washes. I like how it still shows a bit of chrome.

I like that. Still keeps the chrome but not as in your face as full chrome

Yup, I did it to my Rebel. The only issue is that the corners will start to lift after a while.

On what emblems did the corners lift? I wonder if a little glue would keep them in place.

Pretty much all of the emblems, but not all of the letters though. Whatever you do, do not go near them with a microfiber towel. You can almost guarantee you will catch a corner.

Installed my overlays last night, and just took a couple of pictures in the sunlight. Pardon the dirt, but it said not to wash the vehicle for 24 hours. I'm liking them so far. Before coming across this thread I was going to remove the door emblems because I never liked them. Too large and in your face for my taste. But with the overlays I may leave them.

Put my emblem overlays on from Reflective Concepts this morning. Look damn good IMO. Hope they last through the winters here.
