Oh wow, sorry it was late and I shouldn't be posting. Light bars, got it. I know a few members have them here. Saw one that was installed between the tow hooks on a fourth gen.

Haha...no worries, I know how that goes. I have a full mesh grille and think a 20" LED light bar would be sweet hidden behind it. I just don't know if it would be diffused too much by the grille?

There's a guy on here with a white Ram and has 20" LED behind his grille. Looks sweet. Thinking of putting a 30" or 40" in the bumper slot and two 7" behind the grill myself.

Any way I can track him down? Do you know the user name? Thanks

Tho mine is a 2nd gen, I made my own out of some angle iron. Mounted to the core support with a couple bolts.

I've got a 20" LED bar behind the grille, it's a spot/flood combo. I did have to change the grille to make the most of it though, most of the spot diodes were blocked by the vertical part of the cross. If you want to keep the stock grille, I would recommend a pair of 7" bars

I just drilled mounting holes through this lower bar here, then barely managed to get a nut on the bottom of the bolt haha

This is with the aftermarket grille, with the full bar exposed

And with the stock grille, as you can see most of the spot lights in the middle are covered, limiting the distance lighting you get

And a daytime pic of the aftermarket grille with the bar off

Looks good! Did you hook it up through your fog lights or a separate switch?

I got the bar from offroadledbars.com for a steal by joining a group buy my brother was doing, and they sent a relay harness much like Jeremy gives you for HIDs, it's got a fused power, a ground, relay, and comes with a switch on about a 15' wire, so it's quite easy to install. Here's a couple pics to show output vs my HIDs

This is the LED bar only

And 55W HID projector high beams, 55W HID fogs, and the bar :D

Any chance you have a close up picture of how you mounted those lights. I wanna do this to mine

A few pictures of how I mounted mine. If you cant quite make out clearly from the pictures, that is a piece of 3/16 aluminum plate on the bottom. They need to be tied in top and bottom or they vibrate to beat all hell.
