Snug top fits nice and pretty durable. Easy to keep clean too

I have a Leer. It is a good top, the paint to match looks good, it doesn't leak and it is secure. The down side is that if you want to carry anything over about 24" tall the lid won't close. If you want to take it off it's a *****---heavy and takes at least 2 people. They work well in combination with a bed rug. Last but not least---they ain't cheap. I think they are better than the fold up, roll up type, but that is just my opinion.

Thanks so much. I think in my case I'll need something I can roll up or easily remove

From time to time you can find that style in the "For Sale" section of the site. Might save you a few bucks

I've had fiberglass covers, soft covers, and tri-fold covers.

My favorite of the bunch is what I just purchased for my 2015 express; Undercover "Classic" tonneau cover. It's lightweight at less than 60 lbs (but awkward if you try moving yourself) and very easy to put on and remove. It comes with two hooks to hang on a wall when not in use.

My father in law has had one on his Ford SD for almost 4 years now, it still looks brand new.

Good luck on your purchase!

I think I just need a lid that can be raised up in back

Not sure what style truck you have, but if yours is anything like mine somebody make a fiberglass top with a flip spoiler at the back (like this). Mine came with the truck, but I would get this if I was buying one. But then, I don't know what style your going for.

I prefer the low profile folding covers myself. I am running a Bak F1 cover on my 2015, and ran a Bak G2 on my 2011. The G2 is aluminum, and my only complaint was that it got dented up a little during a hail storm. That is why I went with the fiberglass F1 on my 2015 Ram...it is supposed to resist dents much better than the G2.

Love the fit/finish, and low profile design. Its also nice that you can flip it up to gain full access of he bed when needed.

I've had the Pace Edwards Switchblade since December 2015 10k miles on the 2500 and 1k miles on the 1500.

Got caught in a really bad downpour that lasted about 6 hours when I was driving back home from my sister's house in N. Arkansas and it leaked a bit by the Tailgate.

I like the roll-up, low profile design, and removing it is a one man job in under 5 minutes. The canister does take up a little bit of room at the front of the bed.

Diamondback covers are nice. My brother has had 2. You can open up the back end no problem, carry stuff on top of them, mount them by yourself because they break down into three pieces.
I have an undercover on my Dodge I like it because it's not heavy it is awkward to install and remove by yourself but it's very easy to do but it's not supposed to be left open while driving down the road because of the mounting style.
