I have a 2012 Ram 1500 Express and I want the 20's OFF!!!

The wheel's I am looking for are:
Ultra Wheel Type 164(BLACK)
Size: 17x9
offset: -12mm
B.S.: 4.48"
Bolt Pattern: 5-139

And the tire's I am looking at are:
Hankook Dynapro MT(BLACK SIDE WALLS)
Size: 265/70R17

Will the stock tire size of 265/70R17 look funny with the 17's backspacing of 4.48" and the offset of -12mm. And if so would 285/70R17 fit and look better?

ANYONE WITH PICTURES PLEASE ""POST EM""

I am looking for the all black look, so the Hankook MT's are the only MT's I can find in the 265/70R17 size.

Go with 285/70/17 dynapro mts, they'll feel the wheel well much better!
My girlfriends dad runs them on his 09 2500 and wont run anything else
He owns a construction company and a farm so they see plenty of use and have yet to get stuck
The only down side to them, I wish they had a little bit of siping

welcome to RF

definitely don't go with the 265's they will look small.

285/70/17 will be very close to stock 20's diameter wise.

Thank you both for your quick reply's...

I would love to go as big as possible, but I can not find any information on wheel and tire combo's that are used and working...

Do you think there will be any rubbing issues with the offset and backspacing on these wheels? and with the 11.00" width on the 285's.. will there be problems with that?

I was going to go with the 265's just because I do not want any problems at all... with fitment. And I do want to fill in the wheel wells as much as posible with out leveling or lifting...

You shouldn't have any problems at all! The stock 20" tire has a 275 section width I believe and measures nearly the same height so you really are going to be going much bigger then what you have in tere now
Its a great working tire!

With the 285's and those wheels you should not have any rubbing issues

Go with 305s! Hell, I bet you could get a 315/70R17 in there.

I'm glad my tires are still in near mint condition, otherwise I'd be looking some nasty tires for my '03 Ram 17x8s. I'm kind of thinking I would like to run spacers with them, but we'll see. I really like the 'tucked in big ass tire' look.

No need to 'cross your fingers' with 285s, they are smaller than the 275/60R20s

Theoretically theyre a quarter inch smaller but a half inch wider
It all depends on manufacturers
I can measure the height of each tire when I'm home if anyone actually cares lol

LOL! Thank you for your input, but no need to measure the tires. I trust the forum...
