Yep there the ebay ones. The adhesive on the back is crap though you'll have to use some other adhesive.

Put those in my truck tonight.

Looks brighter then my walmart strips, that's why I suggested those, they utilize 5050 chips.

Looks a bit more blue then mine, maybe it's the camera.

Well, mine is white with blue tint.

They are a little blue. Might have to change them. I have a very bright white led dome light I cant stand if things don't match.

Same here, I have a pretty bright 212-2 led dome light, it's 9 x 5050 leds, at 0.24W per chip ( 9 total ) it's 2.16 watts.

It's more whiter then my floors tho.

The newer Samsung 5630 LED's are 0.50W per chip, at 0.50W x 6 as linked below, it's 3 watts, so a full watt brighter just about.

So for those wanting a brighter alternative, seek LEDs containing 5630 leds.

Festoon 569 578 562 212 2 211 2 214 2 Rigid Loop Samsung 5630 LED Bright White | eBay

The listing shows 6000k but looks whiteish.

It's surprising how difficult it is to match leds sometimes.

Edit:

Found an even brighter solution, an astonishing 600 lumens, 9x 5730 LEDs. Wow lol! and a bit newer led then 5630.
It's labeled as Xenon 6000k, should have a blue tint for sure.

I may have to try this also. I miss the floor lighting my previous Lexus had.

No need for t-taps...found the pigtails for footwell lights yesterday...passenger side requires you to remove lower glove box( open and squeeze sides...look around inside..I found my pigtail..yellow/violet on 2013`s.) then crawled upside down under drivers side..found same pigtail taped to a wire bundle..have not tested yet...but do believe its prewired..as for the wiring for lights to come on with rotary switch..not sure...too damn cold to play around just yet..

where did you find the pigtail on the passenger side? i found the one on the driver side?

It's got a Hemi!
Great thread, will have to look into this. I wanted to share one caution, though. When it comes to poking around the CANBUS system on these trucks and tapping for power you have to be very careful as some circuits are more sensitive than others. I found this out when I tried to tap into a hot lead in the center of the dash that was in a connector for the A/C controls. Apparently the A/C controller did not like that and it went bad immediately. The A/C controls still worked, but it would no longer remember what position it was in after turning off the truck. I was lucky that the dealer warrantied it for me.

when and if it warms up..I will only be adding lights (leds) to harnesses that dont have light already..footwells..on the 2013`s there should also be a yellow wire with light blue tracer..that has "juice" for mirror vanity lights, map lights, glove box light..just add a switch..add your own aux lights(led)

is there any of those wires that just turn on when the lights are on? i want to add lights too but want them when the headlights are on, or parking lights. etc. I don't want to have to have a seperate switch...

Thanks
Bill

Mine has oem lighting, it's a big horn, maybe that has something to do with it.

I wonder if the lower trim models have the harness available and just hidden

Does this wire become hot ( turns lights on ) when you unlock the doors using the key fob ?
