14" Mufflex MagnaFlow Installed!!!

So I got my Muffler installed today and am very happy with the sound, not to loud at idle and aggressive when you GET ON IT! The best part is being behind the truck when she rips free and the sound screams HEMI madness lol. No drone in the cab at highway speeds so all in all I am very happy. I did it in my driveway and only had myself since my friend was busy but was all doable with just one. I couldn't believe the size difference between the stock and the new one but. I went to NAPA and bought a Torctite 3" exhaust clamp since the clamp that comes in the kit is iffy and so far it is working out great with no leaks. I did buy a small tube of Copper RTV just in case it decided to leak but didn't use any. The tips still need to be centered but hope you guys enjoy the video.

Also wanted to thank Matt from Moe's Performance for another great product, it delivered shortly after getting home almost like he planned it for perfect timing.

Sweet! No drone??? I have the 18 and i get a little drone at highway speeds. Nothing like the Flowmaster 40 series though!

I have a Quad Cab so I am not sure if the longer cab equals no drone I am not even sure what drone really is but with the windows up I can have a perfectly well heard conversation at regular volume LOL.

I have the Quad Cab as well. You'd know what it is if you had it!!

It's the most irritating humming noise you could ever imagine... Drives me freaking nuts!!

Yeah I had a little bit of drone when the ECO kicks in but its tolerable. It bothers me more in the city when it drops down to 4cyl and you can hear it more. I've just been putting it in the manual mode when I'm not on the highway so ECO doesn't kick in

I do the same thing. I never let mine go into ECO mode due to the sound. Its worse than normal drone. I wouldn't even know how to explain that sound!

Thats was the whole reason I removed the Flowmaster within the first 24 hrs. You should have heard it when it went into ECO! Driving down the highway was unbearable...

I could imagine if it was even louder then the magnaflow!!! I think I might end up getting a tuner to disable ECO when they're finally available for the 13s

If you could put down a video of the misfire sound and everything AWFUL that yopur hearing that would best help me understand what your talking about because I am in the blue here and need ur help!!!!

Pleasen explain because mine sounds amazing and I haven't been able to depict a negative sound out of it even at eco mode and I am loving it THUS FAR!!

i have notice a difference now when eco kicks in. i got the magnaflo 18' installed li ke 2 weeks ago and i love it. i would like to disable to eco mode to manual i just dont know how to. being that i work 4 blocks from my house i dont see the need to have it kick in within that distance. but it really is a annoying sound, that misfiring sound.

with a tuner you should be able to turn mds off

When MDS kicks activates, with an aftermarket exhaust, it almost sounds like a fart. Call it the MDS fart. It's terrible. It's probably the reason most people that can run tuners disable MDS.
