Is it possible to change the muffler on the 2009 Ram without changing all the pipes. My pipes are in excellent condition and I have seen several flowmaster mufflers in the $150 range. What do you guys think about flowmaster. I want something that sounds good, but not something that is going to rattle the windows in my neighbors house. Which series should I go with.

Yep its fine to just switch the muffler without replacing the piping. I have a flowmaster 40 1inlet and dual outlet, nice and mellow. And has an agressive sound when you punch it. Could go on youtube and look up the sound for your truck and see if you like it.

If you don't want to deal with welding the muffler in mufflex makes a direct bolt on kit with magnaflow mufflers
